 | Emma GerrardRegistered Nurse. BA(Hons) Paediatric Nursing Emma has committed her professional life to the development and well being of children. She grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland and after leaving school, she worked as a nanny in the months prior to commencing university. Emma studied an Honours degree in Paediatric Nursing at Oxford Brookes University, England, which led immediately to a full time position on the surgical & trauma ward at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. Emma then moved to Edinburgh to take up a position on the neonatal intensive care unit at The Simpsons Hospital. Upon arriving in Australia in 2001, Emma worked on the childrens ward at The Gold Coast Hospital, before continuing her studies again. In 2004 she gained a diploma of remedial therapies from the Australian College of Natural Medicine and is a certified member of the Infant Massage Association. Emma is the mother of 4 young children who until recently ran her own sleep and settling business "Little Dreamers". She is passionate about assisting parents in their transition to parenthood. |
